*Job Description: *
*GLC On-The Go is seeking a RN to work a contract at a Long-Term Care Facility in (Penn Yan, NY).
*
* 1 Salaried RN Nurse Manager, must be avail for any/all issues after hours and weekends (no billed OT!)
* Days, Monday-Friday
* SALARY WAGE: $4,500 weekly!
* previous Manager exp is a MUST.
Requirements:
* Must have a valid and current License in the state you are applying for
* Must have 1 year experience in the setting applying for
* Active BLS/CPR Certification (in person for some facilities)
* Must have Covid Vaccination or exemption where applicable
Job Duties:
* Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
* Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
* Preparing patients for exams and treatments
* Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
* Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with medical team
* Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
* Assisting in medical procedures as needed
* Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
* Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
* Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students
* Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems
* Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures
* Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
* Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines
