Nurse Manager

Nurse Manager needed for a nursing facility located in Penn Yan, NY!!! Salary: Up to $100K per year (Depending on Experience) Responsibilities: Provide exceptional patient safety and an outstanding patient/resident family experience Create an environment that fosters staff development, staff safety, and the best practice of nursing care Allocate resources to promote efficient, effective, compassionate, and responsible nursing care.
Assures coordination of care across department lines through a focus on systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication Participates in the recruitment, selection, and retention of personnel Assures appropriate orientation, education, credentialing, and continuing professional development for personnel accountable to the nurse manager Qualifications: Must be a graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nurse Program Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Master in Nursing Must have Current NYS Registered Nurse License Must have at least 2 years of LTC nursing experience Must have previous management/ leadership experience Must have good communication skills Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Meditech #6371
