- Provide direct nursing care and administer medications in accordance with the physician's orders
- Observe and document patient's vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, and promptly report any changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or physician
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
- Perform wound care, injections, and other medical procedures as required
- Monitor and manage resident's overall health, including nutrition and hydration needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Conduct regular assessments and provide ongoing evaluation of residents' condition and response to treatment
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team
- Adhere to all policies, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the facility and health authorities
