*Seneca Lake Terrace* is actively seeking a full-time *Wellness Director (DON)* for our Assisted Living Community.
As part of the *wellness team*, the Wellness Director would provide strong leadership skills to the clinical department while ensuring compliance within federal and state guidelines.
*Responsibilities:*
• Responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Nursing Department
• Ensures proper staffing levels and regulatory compliance
• Creates and maintains monthly department schedule
• Provide leadership development to the clinical staff
• Work with the Business Office Manager to complete interview process
• Meet with new nursing team members to review training and onboarding schedule
• Maintains on-call schedule and rotation
• Oversee the management of staff attendance and performance
• Maintains meeting schedules for stand up, resident rounds, therapy, ect
• Conduct quarterly audits for QA
• Reviews of incident reports and post falls
• Provide oversight and guidance for chart audits
• Follow up on any internal investigations of theft, abuse, medication errors, falls, etc
• Any medical pieces for LTC insurance paperwork
• Assist with nursing care on the floor, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications:*
· Must possess a valid RN license issued by the State of New York
· Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED
· Must be available on call 24/7
· Must adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights
· Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
· Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
· Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds
· May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.
