Receptionist-Urgent Care

We are currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Receptionist in our Urgent Care (0.
92 FTE).
This position will be scheduled a Variable shift consisting of 10.
5-hour days with every other weekend off.
To receive visitors and patients, ascertain their needs and direct them; accordingly, to answer telephones, makes appointments, maintain accurate patient demographic information on the computer and perform related clerical duties to support providers, nurses and patients.
The receptionist will work closely with the staff and physicians, outside doctor’s offices, patients, medical staff, insurance companies, and other hospital and URMC employees.
*QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:* High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years of college or specialized training.
An equivalent combination of training or experience will substitute.
Computer experience is required.
Will be required to go to URMC to complete their training for the registration process.
One-year experience in general healthcare.
Need to demonstrate accurate record keeping as well as excellent organization skills, being mindful to detail.
Requires excellent customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
