We are currently accepting applications for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care in multiple locations.
These positions are Full-Time scheduled primarily Monday-Friday.
In accordance with licensure (PA or NP); provides medical services to patients; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule ancillary services and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
Essential Functions:
1.
Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation and health education
2.
Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient's record; write progress notes and narrative discharge summaries; prepare patient workups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
3.
Order and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
4.
Carry out therapeutic procedures such as cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes; monitor progress of patients, report progress to supervising physician, and maintain record of each patient's progress.
5.
Participate in basic science and clinical research projects conducted by supervising physician; prepare statistical reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
6.
Under the general supervision of Practice Physician(s), provides clinical medicine services and applicable administrative and on call services to JMH Medical Practice patients.
7.
Performs other duties as requested within the scope of applicable licensure, abilities and policies.
*QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:*
Completion of requirements as established by NYS Education Department and AMA, Current New York State License and Registration as Physician Assistant or Nursing Practitioner.
Graduation from an AMA approved school as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Meets continuing education requirements of the applicable discipline board.
Certification and NYS registration as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
DEA License required.
Able to gain and maintain appropriate JMH Privileges.
Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred.
Total Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and incentive compensation.

Pay: $95,000.
