We are looking to hire a dynamic, energetic, and exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility.
We need an individual who is a self-starter, skilled at communication, and a positive motivator.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing and covering when the Director of Nursing is not in the facility.
Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care.
Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
Participating in facility surveys
Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families
Requirements:
Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, with a current and valid RN license in New York.
Long-term care experience is a must.
Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve, and multi-task.
COVID-19 vaccination is required.
