We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Residential Supervisor to manage the day to day responsibilities of the Residential Unit at our Bath, NY location.
Full time position – 40 hours’ week.
Evenings & weekends.
Responsibilities include the ability to work in a trauma informed environment, youth individual and group skills, knowledge of schedules and the ability to mentor and coach team members.
*Responsibilities:*
* Communicate, support and link, HFA mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work
* Establish clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization
* Align the right work with the right people; delegate tasks according to people’s strengths and interests
* Ensure staff has the skills and resources to be successful
* Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills
* Treat staff fairly and consistently
* Share accountability when delegating and involve staff in setting their performance goals
* Oversee employees’ schedules to ensure adequate coverage and oversees client schedules to ensure they are well organized and well communicated
* Handle emergency situations which may require flexibility of both time and area assignment
* Perform all Youth Care Professional functions as required and as needed
*Requirements:*
* Education:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in a residential setting; OR
Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2.
5 years of experience; OR
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience
* Valid NYS Driver's License required
* Must meet agency driving and insurance standards
$17.
00 Minimum Rate per hour, $25.
49 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience
