*PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:* The Recruiting Specialist supports all recruitment initiatives for the each of the Catholic Charities agencies in the Diocese of Rochester, especially the regional agencies.
These include Catholic Charities of Steuben/Livingston, Catholic Charities of the Fingerlakes, Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler, Food Bank of the Southern Tier, Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga, Providence Housing, and Catholic Charities Central Services (Office of the Director), and backup support for Catholic Charities Family and Community Services.
This person is responsible for all recruitment activities and support to hiring managers including, but not limited to, posting and marketing positions as well as sourcing, screening, and interviewing of qualified candidates based on specific departmental needs and requests.
*SPECIFIC DUTIES:* 1.
Provides on-site and remote recruiting support to the regional Catholic Charities agencies and travels on location as required.
2.
Receives job requisition and ensures open positions are posted in a timely manner.
3.
Ensures appropriate recruitment sources are used when posting open positions.
4.
Provides support for technical recruiting tasks, including applicant tracking systems and external posting resources.
5.
Represents the agencies of Catholic Charities at job fairs, hiring events, and community gatherings, and conducts initial interview of candidates as appropriate.
6.
Reviews all resumes, employment applications and/or conducts initial interviews with applicants, selecting potential candidates for open position(s).
7.
Forwards applications and/or resumes of all potential candidates to appropriate hiring manager via applicant tracking system.
8.
Work with hiring managers and leadership to strategically identify recruitment opportunities and provide support/solutions.
9.
Provides expertise and guidance via recruitment consultations to address complex staffing needs, including hard-to-fill and executive level postings.
10.
Actively participates in the design, implementation and marketing of staff recruitment programs and initiatives to include diversity outreach, student hire programs and other key initiatives.
11.
Assists with onboarding at each agency, as needed.
12.
In collaboration with HR Director, updates all job descriptions and job posting templates.
13.
Participates in HR staff meetings.
14.
Attends training and seminars that provide up-to-date guidance and strategies in recruitment and other pertinent topics.
15.
Performs other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS* Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience: At least two years of Recruiting experience, preferably in a human services not-for-profit setting.

· In-person one-hour interviews will be conducted with candidates who advance after the phone screening.

· Where applicable, 2nd Round in-person interviews may be scheduled with members of the HR Team.
This would be with 4-10 participants and in-person with some participating virtually.
